Moreno Valley Community Book Read

The National Alliance Of Free Women, INC Chapter Members are participating in a community book read every Monday night from 6:00pm to 7:00pm as a community nvolvement project.

The alliance is with the Moreno Valley Unified School District under the guidance of Dr. Sandra Mayo, President of Moreno Valley Community College. The NAOFW members are reading The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families by author John Covey. They meet weekly to discuss how these habits are working in our lives, in the work place, with riends and family, and their effectiveness as we implement them into our daily lives.

The NAOFW appreciates Board Member LaDonna Jempson for suggesting that we get involved. According to Cristal Williams, Office Administrative Assistant, and Dr. Mary McBean (Chair), the techniques, steps, and suggestions outlined in the book have been tremendously helpful to us as a community oriented organization.
